Mrs. Claus' Cottage

Sally and Kim are "Mrs. Claus' helpers" who will be hosting the parties and bakery visits. Sally is a retired elementary school teacher and a part owner/operator of Santa's Cottage Oshawa. Kim came on board during the 2022 Christmas season and quickly became an integral part of the children's activities with Santa. Both ladies are kind, patient and hard working moms!

Birthday Parties can be cancelled however, cancellation of the event will result in forfeiture of the non-refundable deposit. If you need to reschedule, please reach out to us as soon as possible by email. We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling your party however, it is not guaranteed. Mrs. Claus' Cottage reserves the right to refuse rescheduling requests.

Although both Santa and Mrs. Claus would love to attend, they are very busy up at the North Pole preparing for the big day! Mrs. Claus pops down ahead of your party to drop off her special gingerbread and birthday cookies for you and your guests to decorate. There is no visit with Santa included with Birthday Parties or Bakery Visits.

A Bakery Visit at Mrs. Claus' Cottage is an hour long event where children can come and decorate 2 cookies and 1 cupcake provided by Mrs. Claus.

Cost is $22 per child. There is a minimum booking of 4 children per visit and a maximum booking of 10 children per visit.

Birthday party goers are kept engaged for the duration of the party inside the cottage. Kids are first challenged to seek and find many of Mrs. Claus' favourite cottage items. Next, every child gets to decorate a keepsake apron & chefs hat that Mrs. Claus has left for each child coming to her cottage. Kids will then decorate Mrs. Claus' gingerbread & sugar cookies, which are wrapped as take-home treats! Then it's time for Mrs. Claus pizza, drinks and birthday cupcakes with candles. We will save time for opening gifts and photos! All food, drink, souvenirs, and virtual birthday party invites are included.

All of our parties are drop off only. We do allow up to 2 parents to stay for the party. Parents are not included in the total number of party attendees.

While we invite any age to book a party at Mrs. Claus' Cottage, the ideal age would be between 6-10 years old.

During the party all attendees must stay inside Mrs. Claus' Cottage. At the end of the inside activities, attendees will visit the Outdoor Gallery. Please dress accordingly.

Absolutely! Each guest will take home a box set of 1 decorated gingerbread cookie, 2 decorated sugar cookies, and custom designed apron and chef hat. You are more than welcome to add additional take home items if you wish.

Birthday party booking cost includes up to 6 children. Two additional children can be added for an extra cost.

No. While Santa's Cottage and Mrs. Claus' Cottage are on the same farm property, a visit with Santa is not included in Birthday Party bookings. Attendees will have access to explore the Outdoor Gallery as part of the Birthday Party once the inside activities are finished.

Birthday parties are $475 per party which includes up to 6 children total. Additional children can be added (2 maximum). A party of 7 children total is $500. A party of 8 children total is $525. There is a $75 non-refundable e-transfer deposit which will be requested through an email when confirming your booking. The remainder of the cost is paid at the time of the event.
